She wasn't called Jordan
Or Britney
Her blankets were Wal-Mart
Not Witney
She didn't give figs
For diamonds or wigs
She'd sold on her gold-plated
Jitney
She didn't talk posh
Like a Cockney
She didn't own brownfields
in Putney
She wasn't too fussed
If her car sprouted rust
She didn't mind lamb
that was mutney
All she longed for to break
The monotney
(And this, not through avarice
Or gluttney)
Was a bucket of spice
Some onions, a knife
A sizeable marrow
A bottling device
And plenty of time
To make chutney.
